Dr. Zekan has resided in Charlotte for most of her professional career. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Charleston in West Virginia and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of West Virginia. After serving as an associate professor of operative dentistry at the NYU School of Dentistry, Dr. Zekan relocated to Charlotte and joined Dr. Murchison shortly thereafter.
Like Dr. Murchison, Dr. Zekan is involved in various aspects of dentistry in the community including the NCDS Mission of Mercy and attends numerous continuing education courses annually.
