Dr. Laura S. Hobbs was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and moved to Winston-Salem in high school. She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. After a year of working in an advertising agency, she decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a dentist, and enrolled in the UNC School of Dentistry.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Charlotte Dental Society. She is a strong supporter of the NCDS Missions of Mercy clinics.
Dr. Hobbs especially enjoys working with children, so that they can learn to care for their precious smiles!
